These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HabitCal ("the app", "we", "our", or "us"). By downloading or using HabitCal, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
You may use HabitCal if you're able to form a binding contract under the laws that apply to you. If you're a minor, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the app and to make any in-app purchase.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use HabitCal on devices you own or control, for your own personal habit-tracking purposes. You agree not to reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app in any way that violates applicable law, and not to use the app to store or transmit unlawful content or to interfere with its normal operation (for example, attempting to bypass the Pro purchase system).
Any habits, logs, notes, or other content you create in the app belongs to you. It's stored on your device and, if you choose to enable backup, in your own Google Drive or iCloud account - see our Privacy Policy for details. We don't claim ownership of your content and don't access it ourselves.
Other than your own content, HabitCal - including its design, logo, and underlying software - belongs to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of the app itself to you.
HabitCal offers optional paid features ("Pro") through in-app purchases. All purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play, and are subject to their respective terms, payment, and refund policies - we do not process payments or handle refunds directly. We use RevenueCat to manage and restore your purchase entitlement across devices - see our Privacy Policy for what it receives. Pro features are described in the app at the time of purchase.
HabitCal can schedule local reminders on your device. These depend on your device's operating system and settings (for example, battery optimization or notification permissions), and we can't guarantee a reminder will always be delivered exactly on time.
HabitCal is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. You use the app at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data. We recommend keeping your own backups (via the app's built-in export or cloud backup feature) of any data important to you.
You may stop using HabitCal at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or discontinue any part of the app at our discretion, including if we discover misuse of these Terms.
If you downloaded HabitCal from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you acknowledge that these Terms are an agreement between you and us only, not with Apple or Google, and that they have no obligation to provide any maintenance, support, or warranty for the app.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
